Denture Or Partials (Actual Photos of patients at our clinic)

Full and partial dentures provide removable tooth replacement. When all the teeth are lost in both the upper & lower jaws, full dentures are made to replace these teeth. Partials fill in the gaps scattered throughout a row of teeth. They include a base that is created to look like your natural soft tissues, and a row of replacement teeth. A full denture stays in place with the help of natural suction, while a partial denture clips to remaining teeth. While dentures and partials can be a great, affordable solution to the problem of missing teeth, we encourage our patients to learn more about dental implants as another option for tooth replacement. Dental implants have the added bonus of being permanent, and they help support overall jaw health.

At Dr. Arora’s Dental Square, we create long-lasting and comfortable dentures and partial dentures using biocompatible materials for a natural look. We will work with you one-on-one to design a dental prosthetic that functions as Nature intended, improves your appearance, and lets you enjoy the benefits of a healthy, complete smile. Removable dentures include.

Valplast Flexible Dentures

Valplast is a flexible denture base resin, which is ideal for partial dentures because of its flexibility combined with strength and light weight. It is also unbreakable & sort of sticks to the jaws/gums making the dentures more retentive & stable without the need for any additional metallic clasps.

It provides total comfort and allows patients’ natural tissue tone to appear through the material (because of its translucence), making it to look more natural. Valplast® Flexible dentures are a comfortable and affordable choice for patients looking for removable partials.

Cast Partial Denture

Another form of removable partial denture where the basic framework is made of cast metal. Metal projections from the framework (Clasps) take support from the adjacent natural teeth making it extremely stable and retentive.

Acrylic Partial Denture

A removable partial denture is worn by people who have only a few teeth missing. This also is made of acrylic resins and often takes support from the remaining natural teeth using wires (Clasps).

Complete Denture

Replacing lost or missing teeth is very good for your health and appearance. A complete or full denture replaces your natural teeth and gives support to your cheeks and lips. Without this support, sagging facial muscles can make a person look older and they will find it harder to eat and speak properly .A ‘complete' or ‘full' denture is a removable complete set of teeth for those who have lost all of their teeth in both the upper or lower jaw. Usually dentures can be fitted straight after your teeth have been removed. These are called ‘immediate dentures'. With immediate dentures you don't have to be without teeth while your gums are healing Full dentures, to replace all your own teeth, fit snugly over your gums. They will help you to eat comfortably and speak clearly, and will improve your confidence and self-esteem. Dentures are made of either acrylic (plastic) or metal.

The upper denture usually has much more suction to hold it in place. There is much less gum support in the lower jaw, and the lower denture may feel more wobbly as it has to be balanced between your cheeks and your tongue& reduced size of the lower jaw.

Conventional complete dentures in the lower jaw often creates more trouble because of the reduced size of the lower jaw, presence of tongue & more saliva as compared to upper jaw.Complete dentures can have more stability by taking support from dental implants.
